First Focus
On behalf of the congregation of the First Baptist Church in Dandridge, please accept my invitation to experience the excitement of God at work in our midst. We are delighted to share some information on this website in hope that you find it helpful in learning more about us.
I have served as the pastor here since December of 2007. In this relatively brief time I have come to find that the people of First Baptist Church are excited about the future. With folks joining us almost every Sunday, there is a great anticipation for the future. We know that an expansion of our facilities is right around the corner, but even more important is an expansion of our vision. These are exciting days!
We can’t be sure what the future will bring for us as a church anymore than we know what tomorrow will bring for us as individuals. However we are delighted at what God has done here in the past and thankful that He continues to bring committed believers into our fold. It is a blessing to serve God in this mission field called Dandridge, Tennessee. We would love to serve God together with you in the days to come. Experience the excitement!
This church exists for the glory of God. We believe that we are made to be in a relationship with Him and to recognize Jesus as Lord and Savior. We strive to bring God glory through singing and praying together, hearing His Word preached, loving Him, and loving one another.
